Milan, a leading city in sustainable mobility, will host the Next Mobility Exhibition (NME) from May 8 to May 10 2024, an event set to be a benchmark for the latest trends in the transport sector. Supported by Agens, Anav, and Asstra, the fair will focus on the digital transformation and energy transition of transportation, exploring Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Mobility as a Service (MaaS), themes that are defining the future of public transport and promoting a more integrated and sustainable approach to urban mobility. Prominent industry names such as Iveco Bus, MAN Truck & Bus Italia, and Otokar will be among the exhibitors, showcasing the latest innovations in onboard technology and support infrastructures.
In this dynamic setting, NCM will stand out by presenting Ai4PT (Artificial Intelligence for People Transportation), an advanced solution that leverages artificial intelligence and computer vision with the goal of revolutionizing the transport sector. Specifically, the new features of Ai4PT that NCM will showcase include real-time passenger counting with 98% accuracy, boarding and alighting counts at stops, monitoring of available and occupied seats onboard, origin-destination matrix analysis, sensor checks of surveillance systems, anti-fraud systems, and predictive maintenance of the vehicle.

15-02-2024 - Technological Revolution in Bari: Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Mobility at the Heart of the Conference on Public Transport Transformation
The event "Mobility Innovation in Bari - Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Ticketing, MAAS, Fleet Renewal" took place on March 7th and 8th 2024 at Villa Romanazzi Carducci in Bari. The conference focused on the use of artificial intelligence in public transport planning and passenger flow management, Mobility as a Service (MAAS), Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), as well as new technologies for electronic ticketing and autonomous mobility. The event, sponsored by Club Italia, Amtab, and the Municipality of Bari, welcomed major operators of Italian public transport, both local and regional, along with other prominent national figures, such as the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Trenitalia, and the Italian State Railways.
NCM had the honor to participate as a speaker, presenting the innovative features of the Ai4PT (Artificial Intelligence for People Transport) platform such as real-time passenger counting, monitoring of boarding and alighting at stops, creation of origin-destination matrices, monitoring of available and occupied seats, accessibility of spaces for disabled persons, availability of slots for bicycles and scooters, and an advanced software for surveillance system control.

From November 7th to 9th, 2023, Barcelona was the global capital of smart cities, hosting the prestigious Smart City Expo World Congress. This international event reaffirmed its status as a benchmark for the smart city sector, attracting over 24,000 professionals from more than 800 cities and bringing together more than 600 international speakers. These experts shared their visions on how to build a more sustainable urban future.
During the event, NCM had the opportunity to stand out as an exhibitor, presenting its innovative AI4PT solution for passenger counting based on artificial intelligence and computer vision. This advanced technology generated significant interest among participants, demonstrating how intelligent solutions can effectively transform the management and sustainability of public transport in cities.
In addition to participating as an exhibitor, NCM also contributed with a presentation at the Innovation Plaza, where we delved into the crucial role of our technology in the evolution of urban transport systems. Our speech highlighted how AI4PT can not only improve the accuracy of passenger counting but also provide essential tools for resource optimization and service planning, strengthening inclusion and accessibility in the urban context.

From October 12th to 14th, 2022, the Fiera Milano exhibition complex in Rho was the venue for the first edition of the Next Mobility Exhibition (NME), dedicated to smart cities and the mobility of the future. Supported by AGENS, ANAV, and ASSTRA, the fair acted as a catalyst for the transformation of the transport sector, emphasizing innovation, digitalization, and technology as pillars to promote a new model of intelligent and sustainable mobility, in line with the goals of the European Green Deal to reduce emissions and achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
NCM participated in NME as an exhibitor, presenting AI4PT (Artificial Intelligence for People Transportation), its solution specifically designed for public transport, based on artificial intelligence and computer vision for real-time passenger counting.
